Sport Rehabilitation
Sports rehabilitation at DTSM covers you from injury through to full return-to-play. Whether you need a full injury assessment and rehab programme, a movement screen to catch problems early, or return-to-sport testing to formally confirm you're ready, every plan is built around your body, your sport, and your goals — not a generic protocol.
-
Injury assessment and rehabilitation with DT's clinic director. Includes post-surgical rehabilitation. The highest level of clinical experience available, best suited to complex or high-stakes cases.
-
Injury assessment and rehabilitation with a senior clinician. Includes post-surgical rehabilitation. Suitable for the majority of injury and rehab needs.
-
Injury assessment and rehabilitation with a supervised placement student, overseen by qualified clinical staff throughout. Reduced rate. Best suited to straightforward injuries; complex or post-surgical cases should book Senior Clinician or Clinic Director.
-
Catch problems before they become injuries. Our movement assessments look at how you move — your mobility, control, and any asymmetries or compensations — to flag risk factors early, whether you're currently injury-free and want to train smarter, or nearing the end of a rehab programme and want to confirm you're back to full movement quality.
-
The final checkpoint before you're back in the game. Return-to-sport testing uses functional and performance-based measures to formally assess whether you're ready to return to full training or competition after injury or surgery — giving you, your coach, or your club clear, objective evidence rather than a guess.
Recovery at DTSM is treated as part of performance, not separate from it. Our hands-on treatment sessions ease tension, support mobility, and help your body handle the demands of training and competition — whether you're managing a heavy training load, working through niggles, or preparing for competition. Sessions are tailored to what your body needs that day, not a one-size-fits-all routine.

Performance Training
£60 Personal Training
One-to-one coaching for whatever you're working toward — general fitness, weight loss, building confidence in the gym, or simply moving and feeling better day to day. Because DT brings rehab and performance expertise together, your trainer works with a full picture of your health and injury history, so your programme is safe, sustainable, and built around your life, not a generic template..
£60 Strength & Conditioning
Athlete-focused physical preparation, built around the specific demands of your sport. Where personal training is about your general fitness goals, strength and conditioning develops the strength, power, speed, and resilience your sport actually requires — whether you're building a pre-season base, peaking for competition, or working performance capacity back up after injury, in a programme that draws on the same evidence-based approach used across our rehab work.
Concussion Clinic
Head injuries need care that's both immediate and long-sighted. Our concussion clinic provides thorough assessment and staged, structured management following a head injury, guiding you safely from diagnosis through to a graduated return to sport or daily life — with your long-term brain health, not just your next game, front of mind.
-
Initial assessment and diagnosis following a suspected head injury
A structured, staged management plan following recognised concussion protocols
Symptom monitoring and guidance throughout recovery
Graduated return-to-sport (or return-to-learn/return-to-work) progression, with clearance at each stage
Ongoing communication with coaches, schools, or clubs where relevant, with your consent
-
Assessment — a full clinical evaluation of your symptoms and history following the injury.
Management plan — a staged plan tailored to your symptoms, sport, and recovery pace, not a fixed timeline.
Monitoring — regular check-ins to track your progress and adjust the plan as needed.
Graduated return — a step-by-step progression back to full training or competition, only advancing when it's safe to do so.
Who is this for?
Anyone managing a suspected or diagnosed concussion — from a single incident to those with a history of head injuries who want a more cautious, informed approach to their care.
